Process Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing the various manufacturing process and implementing programs to improve material yield, machine efficiencies, and cost savings. The Process Engineer also assists with SOP development and raw material trials. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong computer knowledge, organizational and writing skills, and a strong knowledge of operations. This position reports to the Manager of Quality & Process Engineering.

• Collection and analysis of manufacturing and quality data
• Coordinate activities related to the continuous improvement of all operational aspects
• Maintain and update a database of machine parameters for mixers and extruders
• Run scale-up trials to qualify raw materials and new products ulations
• Provide operational support to Maintenance, Production, and Quality Control departments
• Assist the local Engineering Team with development of Standard Operating Procedures
• Aid in training machine operators and supervisors
• Other duties as assigned
