Contributing to Psychiatry in Saudi Arabia, Dr Rafat currently lectures Psychiatry in Al-Marefa University in Riyadh.
Before that, he held numerous health management positions such as the Medical Director at Circle of Integration Psychiatry Center in Riyadh, as well as establishing and heading the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology in Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz City for 10 years.
